We are working with a great team of dedicated designers and furniture specialists to find a Furniture Project Designer to join their team. This Oakville based company is a great place to work. The company has been around for over 20 years serving their customers with a customer first philosophy and they are looking for a strong player to join their team. The Furniture Project Designer will work with the team in a collaborative environment to manage their customer's experiences and design intelligent spaces for humans working in a fast-paced world. You’ll: (About the role)

  • Build office solutions to create dynamic healthy environments for customers
  • Develop furniture and environment strategy from presentation to completion
  • Project coordinate from design to implementation
  • Interact with customers to provide product information and assess needs
  • Manage projects internally and externally for the Customer experience
  • Build relationships with customers and collaborate with team members



We're Looking for Someone With: (About You)

  • A creative mind that can build innovative and attractive customer environments
  • 5 years of Commercial Furniture Design
  • Project coordination experience
  • Strong technical and design skills utilizing technology
  • Technology knowledge experience required - Autocad, CET Configure, Salesforce, MS Office, Illustrator, Adobe
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Strong understanding of interior design principles and Ontario Building Code
  • Valid Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Post Secondary Education in design or related field
  • Experience in furniture dealer or manufacturer environment
